General Notes

• Google Maps is correct, but most other GPS and mapping tools are fake news.

• Cell service is limited. Write these direction down before you leave, as it may be challenging to access GPS, contact us, or access the website later.  

• Please drive carefully. These narrow mountain roads have an abundance of wildlife, Labor Day travelers, and police officers.​

 

From Denver 

1. Take Highway 285 South (west) for about 50-60 miles.

2. Admire the beauty of Kenosha Pass, but don't let your eyes linger too long because you will miss the tiny town of Jefferson, which is your last sign of civilization and where you turn left onto Colorado 77 / Tarryall Road. (If you continue straight, you will hit Fairplay.) 

3. Drive for 15 miles and then turn left onto Al Gulch Road. You will see mailboxes and a sign that reads “Lost Park Ranch.” (If you see Tarryall Reservoir, you’ve gone a few miles too far.)

4. Drive for one mile then turn left onto Willow Way at the 2-stall fire house. 

5. Drive 0.5 miles on this semi-circle road and then turn right onto Copenhaver.

6. Drive until you hit the dead end with two community ponds on your left. Turn right onto Old House Road or park at the ponds and walk onto the property.
